ABSTRACT:

Defending Duke’s network requires advanced awareness and automation to provide visibility and context while constantly adapting to new threats. We’ll talk about new strategies in intrusion prevention and intelligence gathering to protect our network in an ever-changing environment. Highlights from this Information Security talk will include discussion of use of specific security tools (SourceFire, MTD, CIF, honeypots and others) and how they can be integrated to create an overall security strategy.
