TechExpo X – Like your high school reunion, only less awkward
Where were you 10 years ago? Were you a seasoned IT staff member shuffling the halls looking to connect with colleagues? Were you a freshman in technology looking for a good coach? Were you using a flip phone in the bathroom while using the hall pass? Tech Expo was there. 10 years ago, a dedicated group of cool kids envisioned a gathering of Duke IT staff to foster professionalism, share expertise and look into the future. Like a high school reunion where you come back to prove you made it in the world, Tech Expo X peeks into the last 10 years and launches you forward. Show your stuff with presentations, panel discussions, learning labs and information tables. You’re bound to run into old friends, just like your high school reunion, only less awkward.

April 7th is the 10th ever Duke TechExpo
April 7 marks the 10th ever Duke TechExpo, and we’re inviting you to get in on the show. If you’ve got an old TechExpo shirt stuffed in a drawer somewhere—or maybe you’re one of those folks who give the shirts to their kids to use as nightgowns, in which case, they’re in your kids’ drawers somewhere—dig it out, put it on, take a selfie, and send it to Box. We’ll put all the photos in a slide show for display during the lunch hour.
People of ITLand!
The 10th Duke TechExpo will be on Friday, April 7, at the Washington Duke Inn.
You won’t want to miss it, so mark your calendars for this one-day conference of Duke IT people, by Duke IT people, and for Duke IT people. It’s the best opportunity you have all year to learn about the amazing stuff happening in IT at Duke, to brush up on your skills, and to connect with friends and colleagues across the university and health system.
