Answers to your burning questions.
FAQ

TechExpo is this Friday the 13th! Breakfast starts at 8:00am and the first sessions start at 9am. Are you ready? Here are some common questions answered.

Can I still register?

TechExpo is at capacity. However, you may use the registration link to join our wait list. If you are already registered and can’t attend, please cancel your registration using the instructions on your confirmation email.

Can we register for specific sessions?

No. You may attend any sessions you like once you are registered to attend. Read the descriptions here. However, event registration does require an RSVP for lunch if you plan to eat with us.

I’m still confused about parking, where do I go?

There are several options this year including parking deck, shuttle and walking distance lots. Visit the parking page for the latest.

Will there be a photo booth this year?

Yes, the “Conquer your Fears” themed booth will be set-up inside at the event. Be sure to stop by for your commemorative digital photo. All photos are posted to Box after the event and are available for download.

Are there any change to the prize wheel?

Yes! The wheel has gone electronic. This year everyone who spins gets a prize. No more prize wheel raffle. Prizes will be picked up at corresponding vendor tables.

Will there be a signature card for a prize like last year?

Yes, in effort to “Conquer your Fears” and meet new people at TechExpo, you may participate in the signature card prize drawing for a chance to win a KindleFire. Just pick up a card at check-in, get signatures throughout the event and drop it in the box before you leave.

Can I submit photos of the event that I take?

Yes, you may email them to our box folder at techexpopix@duke.edu.

Can I watch the keynote address if I’m not there?

If you can’t attend, you may watch the keynote address by Apple’s Eddy Cue via WebEx at:
